RESUME
Yusuf YUSUFOGLU completed his undergraduate studies as a double major student at Middle East Technical University (METU, Turkey) in June 2005 and received two degrees as a high-honor student from Chemical Engineering and Chemistry Education Departments. Dr. Yusufoglu received his PhD. degree from Iowa State University, USA in Material Science and Engineering Department. After finishing his Ph.D. studies, Dr. Yusufoglu joined Argonne National Laboratory (Chicago, USA) in 2009 and he worked as a Post-doctoral researcher at Argonne National Laboratory. He has extensive research experience in polymers and polymeric composites, chemical synthesis and characterization of nano-materials, heat insulation materials, inorganic materials, inorganic-polymer nanocomposites. He works as R&D Technology Team Leader – Polymers&Chemicals in Central R&D material technology division at Arçelik since 2011. He has 15 patents, one book chapter and published 8 journal articles and they have been sited more than 100 times as documented by the “ISI Web of Knowledge”.
